This tessellation shows translational (slide) symmetry.
The butterfly "tile" (tile = repeating shape) is not precisely reproduced in each instance. If you look at the outlines, some overlap and cause confusion about where one tile ends and the next begins. and fits with all the other tiles perfectly, without gaps or overlaps. A proper tessellation does not have gaps or overlaps.
The butterflies are pretty, though, and we can clearly see that they could tessellate, so this drawing is pretty much a success.
